D N Prasad (Or, DNP as he is known as in professional circles) is an Executive Coach(PCC, International Coach Federation), transformational HR Leader, Culture builder, Mentor/Advisor, Program Manager, Strategist and a start-up guy in the HR space! He has joined Public Service with the Singapore Government, as Senior Director for Strategy, People and Organization, with GovTech. Prior to his entrepreneurial venture with Noetic Step, he served as Director and Head of Google People Services for APAC and a Leadership Coach. Prasad has a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Bangalore University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (HR) from TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI; graduated in 1999). His progressive leadership experiences in his career spans a seven and a half years with Infosys and a decade with Google. He has to his credit, setting up several new functions – in market (in India and Singapore), in region (APAC) and globally. Key roles across these organizations include heading Global Entry Level hiring, Campus relations and HR Operations at Infosys, Establishing Staffing Programs for Google in India, Program Manager for People Operations Strategy in APAC, Regional Lead for Google People Services and setting up and serving as a Global lead for Extended Workforce Solutions in Google. DNP was chosen as and awarded the Best HR Leader in the Tenth Annual Singapore HRM Awards, 2013 – a pre-eminent HR Awards in Singapore, and featured as one of the best HR leaders to watch for in 2013, in a cover story by HRM Asia in the January 2013 issue and as one of the Captains of HR in APAC in the 150th edition of HRM magazine in 2014. He serves on the Board of Management Studies of T.A. Pai Management Institute, Manipal – India and Advisory Board for Ad Astra Consultants. He is a distinguished keynote speaker and thought leader in several HR and Leadership conferences and has also been featured in prominent HR publications in India and Singapore.
